Final Post Eliza

My name is Eliza Halbig, a recent graduate of UMF. I decided to come on this trip, one, because it was Greece and, two, because the Ecotourism aspect was really intriguing. I have learned so much about what it's like for tourists to travel to areas like Athens and Thessaloniki. I have found myself reliving the hours we spent on the island of Hydra. When you think of Greece you think of a small mountainous area with oceanside housing and shops. Hydra was the definition of this and was particularly my favorite place that we traveled to. I have found that when I replay the memories in my head I keep thinking back and saying when I leave Greece I will remember the day we spent there.
